Final Blog

I still cannot believe how fast time has gone by, we are in our last week for the term and we will begin a new term soon. I am almost done with my other project in A&P I....I'm just revising it and having it revised. Then all I will have left in that class will be my final exam and with this class all I have left is this blog. I really enjoyed this class and meeting all of you. I learned so much from Professor Pal and from you all:) I will miss having class with you all on Mondays.
As for giving someone advice who is planning on writing a scientific paper, manage your time and work on it weekly, don't want until the last minute. I'd also tell them to make sure their paper meets all the requirements and that it is clear and concise. In addition the paper needs to have an introduction, thesis, body, and conclusion. It should include a title paper with running head and a reference page with APA format. Citation is important because if we properly don't cite our sources, we would be plagiarizing. I'd say if you could pick the topic, make sure its something that interests you...that was very helpful for me. Lastly, make sure you revise you paper, read it out loud, have someone else revise it (or send it to the writing center) and listen to their feedback. Then take that feedback and change or add things, read it out loud again and print it off so you can "see" your errors.
I know I have learned so much from this class. I learned so many revision techniques and how to become a good communicator. I feel confident in using APA format and in using the techniques we learned in class. I know how a paper is structured and how it should all flow together...I feel as if I have become a better writer with this class. Thank you again Professor Pal. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE:)
