My Poor Little Guy:(

My nine month old gave me a scare today...at around 5:00 pm, I noticed that my little guy had a runny nose and was really hot. I took his temperature and it read 100.8, I immediately gave him some tylenol and put a warm washcloth on his forehead. I checked his fever again an hour later, still the fever didn't go down. I sent an email to my A&P I professor telling him I wasn't going to attend seminar because I didn't think I would be back from the ER. I then took my son to the ER, they checked his vitals and the doctor told me it seems to be a viral infection not bacterial. He told me though that if things got worse to bring him back and to take him to his primary doctor tomorrow. I made it back ten minutes later after A&P seminar started. While, the baby was napping I still attended class and luckily he woke up after seminar. Tonight, I know will be a long night and I might not get much sleep, but I'll do anything for my little guy. I wish it was me who was sick not him...he's not his normal self of all smiles and giggles. He's quiet and fussy.
I must admit being an online student does have it's benefits. If you cannot attend seminar, you can do option 2 and listen to seminar if you want. I plan on listening to my seminar again. I also like the fact that I can be here at home with my son and not have to leave his side. In being an online student you can plan things according to your schedule and you can learn from home. I really like being an online student. I've been both now online and campus base student, and I love being an online student now that I have my baby..it's so much easier. Well he's waking up again....
